Boone REMC will host its next Member Ambassadors of the Cooperative (MAC) event on the evening of Tuesday, June 17, at the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds (1300 E 100 S) in Lebanon. The gathering will take place in the Farm Bureau Community Building and begin at 6 p.m. with light refreshments. A presentation will follow at 6:30 p.m., concluding by 8 p.m.

The evening’s discussion will focus on power distribution, system reliability, and infrastructure improvements. Attendees will gain insight into the Central Indiana Grid Expansion project that is needed to support growth in our region.

Boone REMC’s President and CEO Bill Conley will lead the discussion, with Jeff Conrad, president and CEO of Wabash Valley Power Alliance — our generation and transmission partner — joining to help answer questions and provide additional insight into the broader power supply picture.

This event is part of our continued effort to keep members informed and involved. Boone REMC hosts three Member Ambassador events each year as an opportunity for members to engage directly with cooperative leadership.

Any Boone REMC member who wants to attend must register at bremc.com/mac-registration by June 12.
