Meet your 2025 board of director candidates

Every year, as a member of LaGrange County REMC, you have the opportunity to vote for your board of directors. This year includes three uncontested races. 

District 5

C. Shane Rasler is the director for District 5 and has served on the board since 2016. He holds his Credentialed Cooperative Directors Certificate (CCD) and Board Leadership Certificate (BLC) from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA). He is LaGrange County REMC’s representative on the Wabash Valley Power Alliance Board of Directors. 

He attended Purdue University and is the owner of Rasler Insurance Services in LaGrange. 

Rasler is a member of the Woodruff Grove Methodist Church and the South Milford Lions Club. He enjoys traveling with his family, drag racing and watching sporting events. Rasler, his wife Stacie, and their two daughters reside in Wolcottville.

District 6

Jeff Brill is the director for District 6 and has served on the board since 2004.  Brill holds his Credentialed Cooperative Directors Certificate, Board Leadership Certificate, and a Director Gold Credential from NRECA. He is also LaGrange County REMC’s representative to the Indiana Electric Cooperatives’ Board and serves on its legislative committee. 

He belongs to the LaGrange Masonic Lodge, the LaGrange Shrine Club, the Ft. Wayne Mizpah Shrine Club, and the Ft. Wayne Scottish Rite Club. Brill is retired from the LaGrange County Highway Department. 

He and his wife, Donita, enjoy visiting their son who lives in Louisville when they get the chance.

District 7

Roger Domer represents the co-op membership in District 7, which is the director-at-large seat. He has served on the board since 2003 and has served as board president since 2017. Domer has earned both the Credentialed Cooperative Director Certificate and Board Leadership Certificate from the NRECA. 

Domer is employed by TransCanada and is an operation technician for the ANR Pipeline Company. He owns RD’s Seawalls & Sidewalks, Inc., and is involved in several organizations, including LaGrange County Sheriff Department’s Merit Board, 4-H Shooting Sports, Ducks Unlimited and Pheasants Forever. He and his wife, Tonya, have three children and five grandchildren.

Voting for the board of directors will take place online and by mail. Members who have an email address attached to your account will be e-mailed ballots by the middle of May. Members without an email address will be mailed their ballots, also by mid May.

All ballots must be received by June 4.
