Every year, we remind our members that we offer medical priority to households with members who rely on life-sustaining equipment.

Please let us know if you rely on life-sustaining equipment such as respirators or dialysis. In certain situations, such as planned outages, we can notify you ahead of time about the outage so you can make needed arrangements.

Despite our best efforts, an interruption in electric service may be caused by any number of events, such as accidents, storms, etc. Therefore, our members who rely on life-sustaining equipment should obtain emergency back-up systems, such as batteries or generators.

Visit dmremc.com/medical-priority to submit your information. You will need a doctors or home health care providers statement.

Please note, this is an annual form. You will have to fill it out again next year to make sure that you still need medical priority.
