Marshall County REMC sponsored two local students on the Indiana Youth Tour to Washington, D.C., June 13-20. Youth Tour provides young Hoosiers the opportunity to visit the nation’s capital, learn about government, experience American history and gain a better understanding about their electric cooperative and government.

Students visited Flight 93 Memorial, the Gettysburg Battlefield, Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian museums, the National Mall memorials, and the National Museum of the Marine Corps. They also took a night cruise on the Potomac River and experienced so much more.

William Mills and Samuel Manikowski (shown at right from left) represented Marshall County REMC on the trip.
