What do you call a Saturday afternoon with thousands of dollars in prize drawings, live music from the band Caribou, ice cream treats, inflatables, a live animal show from Silly Safaris and free gifts for every family? Well, in the past we would have called that the REMC Annual Meeting, but starting in 2023, we’re calling it the REMC JAMBOREE!

We are so excited to welcome every member and family to join us at the REMC Jamboree as we come together for food, fun and friendship, while also holding our annual director election and sharing important REMC updates from the last year. This is our first in-person gathering since 2019, so we couldn’t be more excited to see you! But there are a few changes you need to know about:

While the name has changed from Annual Meeting to Jamboree, it’s still the same event you’ve come to know and love for years.

Due to school construction, the location will be at Charlestown High School, not Silver Creek High School.

The Jamboree will take place Saturday, April 15, starting at 2 p.m. We moved the event earlier in the day so that you can come out and have a great time, but still have your evening free once it’s done.

Watch our publications, emails and social media channels for all of the important information this month and next. If you’ve been to our events in the past, we can’t wait to see you back again. And if you’ve never come to our events, let me personally invite you to our first-ever REMC Jamboree. It’s going to be fun!
