Nestled in the serene Noble County countryside sits the Quiet Corner Tea and Coffee Room. Owned by Dick and Shirley Rinker, the restaurant was established in 2001 after a fallen tree destroyed a workshop on their property. Shirley had dreamed of opening a tea room ever since the couple had been missionaries in India years before, and now she had her opportunity. The tea room was built on the ground where the workshop once stood.

The restaurant, located outside of Churubusco, features sandwiches on homemade bread, quiche, desserts and, of course, tea (a must-try is the chai tea). The Rinkers have their chai tea shipped in from India where they learned how to properly serve and brew the beverage. After dining, be sure to walk the heavily-wooded grounds featuring walking trails.
