Chastity Keller, director of CASA Marshall County, accepts an Operation Round Up grant.

On Tuesday, July 24, the Marshall County REMC Operation Round Up board awarded CASA of Marshall County $1,000 to redesign a professional looking, mobile friendly website.

CASA is an organization of trained volunteers who work with abused/neglected children who have been declared in need of services by the court system. These trained men and women from the community spend time with the child, talk to those involved in the case, and share their findings and recommendations with the judge.

No special background or education is necessary, but training is provided to become a CASA volunteer. To find out more, contact Chastity Keller – CASA of Marshall County, 211 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN 46563, 574-935-8723.

Thank you to those members who participate in Operation Round Up and to the Marshall County Community Foundation for making these donations possible.

If your organization would like to apply for an Operation Round Up grant, please contact Marshall County REMC at 574-936-3161 or visit www.marshallremc.com.
