To help our members during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bartholomew County REMC temporarily suspended service disconnections due to nonpayment of bills and late fees. After Oct. 12, BCREMC will resume disconnections for accounts that have not paid their balance from electricity use after Aug. 14. BCREMC will also begin charging late fees after the Oct. 26 due date.

We want to help you avoid disconnection of your electric service and do what we can to help members with their past due balances. We understand you may be facing financial difficulties because of COVID-19. We’re here to help. Any past due balance, accumulated before Aug. 14, will not be subject to disconnect and members will have until Feb. 15 to pay off that balance.

You can also access your account information and make payments by calling 1-844-344-4369, click “My Account” on our website, or use our SmartHub mobile app.

During this unprecedented time, we know our members may be facing financial challenges. We’re here to work with you. We encourage you to please contact us as soon as possible if you’re unable to pay your bill.
