As the year draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on what we have accomplished and take time to appreciate all we have been blessed with.

This has been a packed year for KREMC, with events such as our Annual Meeting — which had record attendance — the Kosciusko County Fair, Member Appreciation Day, Family Safety Day, and Community Day. All of these events allow us to engage with our members and community, the pillars of our electric co-op.

We have also had the opportunity to give out several grants and scholarships this year, including our John H. Anglin Scholarship, 4-H Scholarship, Operation Round Up Grants, and EnviroWatts Grants. Watching the way these scholarships and grants make an impact on our community is extremely rewarding and reminds us why we do what we do. We are grateful for our members who contribute to these funds and make these opportunities possible.

If you are looking to save on your holiday shopping this year, download the KREMC Co-op Connections App! Find both national and local discounts, including discounts at over 30 local businesses.

Another great option for holiday gifts are KREMC HUGs, or Household Utility Gifts. These gift certificates for electricity can offer much-needed support to individuals during the expense of the holiday season and the cold of winter. These are available for purchase at our office. Give someone you know a HUG this season!

May your holidays be filled with fun, family, and festivities. We are excited to continue serving our membership and community in 2026.
