A GenerLink Generator Switch is an innovative energy solution that can offer homeowners peace of mind during power outages. With an 8.5/10-kilowatt capacity, GenerLink allows users to easily switch appliances by adjusting breakers on their household circuit panel, addressing basic emergency power needs. Emphasizing safety, the system disconnects the customer from the power grid when the generator is in operation, safeguarding line crews.

GenerLink’s collar design allows for easy and safe installation. It just needs to be plugged into a standard residential meter socket. Installation is performed by Jackson County REMC linemen and typically takes less than 30 minutes, eliminating the need for expensive transfer switches or wiring changes.

The cost of a GenerLink switch starts at $700 plus tax, includes a 20-foot cord, and comes with a seven-year warranty. Compatibility depends on the generator’s receptacle type, with options like L14-20 locking, L14-30 locking, and L14-50 straight.
