On Aug.  9, the REMC held its fish fry and bake sale to benefit the United Way fund drive. Brownstown Electric donated 180 pounds of fish and fried it for us! BCREMC sold 500 fish sandwiches and raised $3,400 for our local United Way organizations. Our cooperative bank, CoBank, generously matched the funds raised. Thank you to all the members who came and contributed to the cause!
