Following the first quarter of 2019, the Operation Round Up board of advisors is happy to report that four local organizations received funding for community development projects around Steuben County. These grantees include:

• Steuben County 4-H Fair Association for renovations and improvements of Rensch Hall and the Steuben County Park.

• Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce for the Fremont Music Fest.

• Junior Achievement serving Steuben County for workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs in Steuben County schools.

• Steuben Mobile Meals to support food deliveries to area residents.

With this grant cycle, Steuben County REMC’s members have returned over $566,000 to our local community.

We are happy to provide support and encouragement to these worthy individuals and organizations. Without the efforts of these willing volunteers and organizers, these communities would not thrive and grow as they have. Thank you for your continued work to provide for our local citizens.

If you are doing great work in our community and need a grant to help make the difference, visit www.remcsteuben.com/ORU to learn more about Operation Round Up. Second quarter grants are due no later than close of business on Friday, June 28.
