For many, September brings with it the peace of routine, as students settle back into school and we return to a more consistent work schedule after summer vacations. At Kosciusko REMC, we continue to focus on our core principle of Concern for Community.

This month, we will be at Family Safety Day on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 9 a. m. to 12 p.m. at Warsaw Center Park with our Live Line Demo. This family-oriented event is filled with health and safety resources and education as well as fun activities for kids. Stop by and watch our Live Line Demo that day to learn more about electric safety.

We have also posted our Annual Operation Round Up Report, highlighting how this grant program has benefited the community.

Operation Round Up is a program that allows members to opt in to round up their electric bills to the nearest dollar. The money is put into a fund at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation and distributed to local non-profits in the community. In this issue, you will find Boomerang Backpacks story, a local non-profit that has benefited from this program.

Enjoy the beginning of fall, head out to Family Safety Day, and consider opting into Operation Round Up if you havent already. We look forward to a productive fall season serving our members and community.
