Thank you for visiting our booth at the Clark County 4-H Fair last month. We enjoyed getting to spend time with all of our members, even our youngest members! Bucket truck rides were a big hit again this year. Children ages 5-15 were invited to soar as high as 60 feet in the air and were given free plastic hard hats to take home. Lineman gear was also available so children and adults could get a feel for the equipment that linemen wear everyday.

Our commitment to the community and those we serve makes us different from other utilities. We offer a variety of programs for the youth in our communities, such as sending soon-to-be seventh graders to an electrifying camp experience, high school seniors-to-be to Washington, D.C., and offering $1,000 scholarships to students attending Indiana University Southeast, Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue Polytechnic of New Albany.

This winter, we will be tailgating at some of the local high school basketball games. Come visit us to meet your board of directors and grab some giveaways. Community events like this are a great way for us spend time with members and have some fun at the same time. We look forward to seeing you all this fall!
