IEC PAGE DAY
Jan. 27, 2026
Experience state government in action! Page Day gives high school students a front-row seat to democracy at the Indiana Statehouse.
During this one-day program, students tour the Statehouse, take part in a mock bill activity, meet state leaders, and connect with legislators to learn how laws are made.
The program is open to high school students who can provide their own transportation. Page Day is typically recognized as an excused school absence.
The application deadline is Jan. 9. For more information, visit goiec.org/pageday or contact Karlee Gable at KGable@IndianaECf
INDIANA YOUTH TOUR TO WASHINGTON, D.C.
June 14-21, 2026
Each June, Indiana’s electric cooperatives sponsor an unforgettable, all-expenses-paid leadership experience to Washington, D.C. for high school seniors-to-be.
Students spend seven days exploring historic landmarks and world-class museums, meeting with legislators on Capitol Hill, and forming lifelong friendships with peers from across the nation. The trip deepens students’ understanding of history, government, and leadership. This year, one lucky student member will be sponsored by Henry County REMC.
The application deadline is Feb. 13. For more information, visit goiec.org/youthtour
