Employee Spotlight: CEO Steve Seibert

Steve Seibert has been with the co-op for 16 years. He was hired Feb. 3, 2003. He began his career with the cooperative as a staking engineer and was named line superintendent in 2004. He was promoted to chief operating officer (COO) of the cooperative in April 2012. The board of directors named Seibert to his current position of president/CEO of the cooperative in November 2013.

Seibert serves as the administrative council chairman of the First United Methodist Church in Cannelton and is the president of the River Valley Official’s Association. He is an IHSAA-licensed official in football, basketball, softball and baseball and was an assistant baseball coach for over 10 years at Tell City High School.

Seibert resides in the Tobinsport area of Perry County with his wife, Patty. They have three adult children and two grandchildren.

When he isn’t working, Seibert enjoys officiating high school sports, boating and spending time with family and friends. He particularly enjoys being “Pappy” to his two grandchildren.
