Fiber Ring Construction — ElectriCom, a contractor hired to place buried and aerial fiber on our system, will be working on Phase 1 of the fiber ring installation. This phase includes building the fiber ring to the western portion of the KV REMC system, and connecting the KV REMC office to the following electrical distribution points located in the following areas:  Porter Township, Pleasant Township, Washington Township, Jackson Township and also the area of Hanna.

Line Rebuilds — As part of our continuous commitment to service and safety, our contract crews will be completing the rebuilding of the sections of line on 450 E. in Porter County and will begin working on 1000 S. in Union Mills (LaPorte County).
