Schroeder graduates HEATS program

Clark County REMC’s Clint Schroeder recently graduated from the Hoosier Energy Apprentice Training and Safety (HEATS) program. Seventeen men received diplomas marking the completion of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, coupled with 576 hours of classroom instruction. During the annual member appreciation event, REMC members were treated to a fish fry with baked beans, cole slaw, drinks and dessert. There was also a hot line demonstration and information from Hoosier Energy about new lighting options. Daniel Kinsey won the drawing for a 50-gallon lifetime water heater.
