Southeastern Indiana REMC has a mission “to safely provide reliable electricity and diversified services to the members and communities we serve.” We also have a vision, of “improving the quality of life in southeast Indiana.” These are the goals of the team at Southeastern Indiana REMC. Everyone from the board of directors to the newest employee of the cooperative is onboard with these goals. We are focused on continuous improvement as we maintain, enhance and expand our facilities, infrastructure and services.

We have several large projects underway right now. We are finishing up the final year of an aggressive five-year cycle of reclaiming our rights-of-way, beginning the construction phase of the SEI Fiber project, building a new headquarters facility, and adding team members to our workforce.

Each of these projects is an important building block that will carry us toward our goals. The streamlined approach of strategically aligning the timeline of each of these projects will result in greater efficiency and thoroughness throughout the entire process.

“Building for the Future” was our annual meeting theme, and it will continue to be our theme throughout the year.
