At LaGrange County REMC, our mission goes beyond delivering safe, reliable electricity. As a member-owned cooperative, we are deeply committed to the people and communities we serve — going on 90 years! One of the most meaningful ways we live out that commitment is by showing up — listening, engaging, and celebrating alongside you throughout the year.
In 2026, we are excited to once again take part in several beloved community events that bring our members together and strengthen the connections that make LaGrange County such a special place to call home.
You will find us at Final Friday in downtown LaGrange, where neighbors gather to enjoy local shops, food, and entertainment. These evenings offer a relaxed opportunity for our team to connect with members, answer questions, and simply enjoy the vibrant community spirit.
We are also proud to participate in the LaGrange County 4-H Fair, a long-standing tradition that showcases the hard work and dedication of our local youth. Supporting events like the fair reflects our commitment to education, agriculture, and the next generation of leaders in our community.
Giving back remains a cornerstone of who we are, which is why we continue to support the Habitat for Humanity Auction. This event helps provide safe, affordable housing for families in need — an impact that extends far beyond the day of the auction.
In Topeka, we look forward to being part of Topeka Together, a celebration that brings residents together and highlights the strength and unity of the town. Events like this remind us that strong communities are built through shared experiences and collaboration.
And, of course, nothing brings people together quite like local sports. The rivalry between Lakeland, Prairie Heights and Westview is a highlight of the season, and we are proud to be part of the energy and excitement at the Lakeland vs. Westview (boys and girls) basketball games in December. It is a great reminder of the pride and passion that define our communities.
These events are more than just dates on a calendar — they are opportunities for us to connect with you, hear your feedback, and strengthen the relationships that make our cooperative unique. As your electric cooperative, we are guided by our members, and these interactions help us better serve you every day.
We encourage you to stop by, say hello, and engage with us at any of these events throughout the year. Whether you have a question, a suggestion, or just want to chat, we value every opportunity to connect. Keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram and X social media pages for more details as the events draw closer.
Thank you for being a part of LaGrange County REMC. We look forward to seeing you in the community in 2026.
