Tipmont’s 77th annual meeting was held on July 23 at Lafayette Jeff High School. 1,041 memberships were in attendance, a 50 percent increase from 2015!

A full breakfast was provided by Outpost Catering and each attending membership received five free LED bulbs and a $10 bill credit. Kids enjoyed a balloon artist, face painting and a magic show. We estimated more than 150 kids attended this year!

The Tipmont membership re-elected District 3 director Lynn Baker to another three-year term. He defeated Tom Utley. Kirk Alter (District 1) and Jerry Peevler (District 6) ran unopposed.

Tipmont awarded five grand prizes to:

  • Sharon Brothers, Lafayette;
  • T. Patrick George, Lafayette;
  • Bryce Strader, Lafayette;
  • David Joyce, Crawfordsville;
  • Danny Metcalf, Battle Ground.

Thank you to all members who attended. We look forward to seeing you next year at our 78th annual meeting!
