That’s why I’m pleased to share a bit of good news: beginning with your Feb. 1 use, members across all rate classes will see a slight decrease in their monthly electric bills, averaging around 1-2%.

This reduction is the result of lower wholesale power supply costs, which Heartland REMC is passing directly through to our members. While the change may appear modest at first glance, it’s a clear reflection of the cooperative difference in action — when costs go down, you see the benefit.

From managing long-term power supply contracts to investing in system upgrades that reduce energy loss and improve efficiency, our team is focused on keeping your energy costs stable and your service reliable.
