Henry County REMC teed off a brand-new community tradition this summer with its inaugural Power Swing Classic at Memorial Park Golf Course. The charitable golf outing combined fun, fellowship, and philanthropy, raising an inspiring $13,000 to support Secret Families of Henry County.

The success of the outing reflects one of the seven cooperative principles that guide HCREMC and all cooperatives: Concern for Community. By working together, the cooperative, event sponsors, partners, and volunteers showed the power of collective action to make a difference for local families.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the outing possible. The Power Swing Classic will now become an annual event, with the proceeds benefiting a different local organization each year.
