We’ve recently seen an increase in mail delivery delays, which has impacted the timely arrival of member payments. To help avoid this issue, we want to remind you that there are several convenient and secure ways to pay your bill on time, in addition to the conventional methods of mailing a check to the REMC or dropping off your payment at our office at 1165 Old Forest Road in Corydon.
Harrison REMC also offers the following ways to pay your electric bill:
Call the office at 812-738-4115 or 812-951-2323 to pay your bill over the phone. You can speak to a member service representative or use our interactive voice response (IVR) system.
Using the IVR is easy:
- Press “1” to report an outage
- Press “2” to make a payment or get account information.
For more options:
- Press “1” to get account information
- Press “2” to pay bill by debit card, credit card, or check
- Press “3” to update phone numbers on your account
Set up your account on automatic payment
With automatic payments, you don’t have to worry about due dates or late fees because your monthly payment is automatically processed. You can set this up on your bank account or a debit or credit card. You will still receive a monthly bill.
To set this up, go to harrisonremc.com and log in to the payment portal, or call the office and speak to a representative.
Consider online bill payment
If you regularly mail your payment, you may want to consider paying your bill online on the website. Payments can be made via a credit card or bank draft.
Pay with the QR code
You can pay using the QR on the payment stub of your current bill. Look for the code and the words Scan to Pay!
Pay with PayGo
Members can use this convenient cash-based payment benefit at retail locations across the country. See the back of your billing statement for the barcode and instructions on how to use it.
