Congratulations to Senior Staking Technician Doug Johanns, who was voted by PPEC’s employees as the 2023 Quarter 4 Rockstar Employee! This internal quarterly recognition program allows employees to nominate and vote on deserving co-workers whom they feel have gone above and beyond or deserve recognition.

Johanns joined the PPEC team in May 1986. His role at the co-op is to communicate and work with members when they need to start a new service or have service upgrades.

It was nice to be recognized by my co-workers; it was a surprise.

WHAT PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING ON LATELY?

I have been working on a lot of new services being connected. I had over 40 new services within the last quarter. I like working with the members on new services and seeing it from start to completion.

WHY DO YOU ENJOY WORKING AT PPEC?

I enjoy being able to help members and playing a role in providing safe, reliable service and working with my co-workers to make it possible.
