Local dairy farmer receives Power Moves rebate

Kendall Hoover, a local dairy farmer served by Marshall County REMC, received a POWER MOVES rebate for the high efficiency lighting in his new dairy milking operation.  Hoover recently moved his farm to Marshall County from Elkhart County and currently milks 146 cows. 

POWER MOVES is a program provided by Marshall County REMC’s power provider, Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA). POWER MOVES provides resources, energy efficiency programs and rebates to residential members, business, schools, and farms.

Marshall County REMC is a member of Wabash Valley Power Alliance (WVPA) – a not-for-profit cooperative that generates and transmits electricity to 23 rural co-ops across Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. It’s a system that allows us to share resources and keep your costs as low as possible. In all, WVPA supplies electricity to more than 350,000 homes, farms, schools, and businesses.
