Flourless Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 (15-oz.) can "no salt added" black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 eggs
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1/8 t. salt
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • ½ plus 2 T. sugar
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F. Melt butter in 8-inch square baking pan. In food processor blend beans, eggs, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla, sugar and butter. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a bowl. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; spread in prepared buttered pan. Bake at 350 F for 35 minutes.
