On Oct. 9, the Decatur County REMC team joined electric cooperatives across Indiana for Community Day, trading their everyday responsibilities for work gloves and a little extra muscle at Southeastern Baptist Youth Camp.
Our employees rolled up their sleeves to tackle projects around the camp, coming together with one goal in mind: making a difference in our community.
As a member-owned cooperative, Concern for Community is one of our seven cooperative principles. Community Day is a reminder that the power of a cooperative extends far beyond the electricity we provide.
We’re proud of our employees for sharing their time, talents and energy to support an organization that makes a lasting impact on our community.
