Noble REMC employees are mourning the loss of our former colleague and friend, Larry Huff, who passed away in July.

Huff began his tenure at the co-op as a member services advisor in 1978, before transitioning to a staff assistant position and retiring in 2004 as our purchasing and warehouse coordinator.

In his 26 years with the cooperative, his main duties included developing and maintaining our materials management program; keeping coverage on fleet, property, and liability insurance; and looking after the office exterior, outbuildings, and the REMC grounds.

In addition to his work at Noble REMC, he was a farmer, softball and basketball coach, avid hunter, and a 4-H leader. He served on the Albion Volunteer Fire Department for 32 years, as well as the United Way Board of Directors and the Noble County Red Cross Board of Directors.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his loved ones and friends.
