Did you know that, as a KV REMC member, you have a direct say in who leads our co-op? Voting in the board of directors election is one of the most important ways you can be involved — whether you’re new here or have been a member for years. Your vote helps ensure our co-op reflects the needs and priorities of everyone we serve. We encourage you to participate and make your voice count.
Electronic voting will open from Aug. 21 through Sept. 22.
You can cast your vote easily using one of the following methods:
SMARTHUB: Log in to your SmartHub account and click the “Vote Now” button.
KV REMC WEBSITE: Visit kvremc.com and click the “Vote Now” button. If you have an email on your electric account, you will use the credentials provided in the email you receive once the election has opened.
Otherwise, you will receive a special election letter by mail with your voting credentials. Watch for the email or letter before attempting to cast your vote.
EMAIL LINK: Access the voting page via the personalized link in your election email that you will receive on Aug. 21. Log in using the credentials located in the message.
On Aug. 21, you will receive an email from the Kankakee Valley REMC Election Coordinator (noreply@directvote.net). This email will contain your credentials to allow you to cast your vote.
Can I vote in person? Yes! If you didn’t get a chance to vote electronically or prefer to cast your vote in person, you can vote at the Member Appreciation Day and Annual Business Meeting on Sept. 24 at the Porter County Fairgrounds.
Every member who votes online or in person will receive a $5 bill credit.
