LaGrange County REMC is privileged to have three outstanding interns joining us this summer.

Cole Bontrager is a 2025 Westview graduate and will begin his sophomore year at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute this fall, majoring in computer science. He is interning with the technical services department at the REMC this summer.

Bontrager is on the ultimate frisbee team at Rose Hulman and enjoys working out and reading. He is also on the worship team at Marion Christian Fellowship. At the REMC, Bontrager has helped troubleshoot customer issues and worked on internal network projects. He is excited to learn about how the internet works from the provider’s standpoint.

Bontrager is the son of Lyle and Erin Bontrager of Shipshewana.

Zoe Hooley is a 2023 Northridge High School graduate and will be a senior at Taylor University this fall. She is working in the accounting department this summer. Hooley enjoys staying active and running, both outdoors and in the gym. She also loves spending time with her family and cares a lot about her faith.

In her short time at the REMC, she has enjoyed learning about cooperatives. She’s looking forward to becoming more comfortable with the ins and outs of the electric industry through her role.

Hooley is the daughter of Mike and Char Hooley of Middlebury.

Nevaeh Orr graduated from Prairie Heights High School a few weeks ago and plans to attend Purdue University to major in electrical engineering. She previously interned at LaGrange County REMC in the operations department during her senior year of high school and will continue this summer. Orr is excited to begin more field work now that she works full time.

She enjoys doing crafts, painting, kayaking, swimming and walking her dogs, Luna and Millie.

Nevaeh is the daughter of Wes and Christine Orr of Angola.
