You will receive a ballot to vote for directors when you register, and you will vote then. The voting must be done at this time to be considered valid.

In accordance with the REMC bylaws, a member who is receiving electric service and is a member before the Annual Meeting is entitled to a vote.

A member is defined as a natural person, firm, association, corporation, business trust, partnership, federal agency, state or political subdivision or agency thereof, or body politic that purchases electric power and energy from the REMC.

Only members having the electric service in their names will be entitled to vote. Members having more than one meter in service will have only one vote.
