MARCH
Members set a new participation record with 20.5% voting in the director election — the highest turnout in our history!

Board members represent the interests and values of their fellow REMC members, helping guide policies, rates, community programs, and the cooperative’s long-term direction. Their dedication ensures Marshall County REMC continues to serve members with reliability and integrity.
In February, voting will open for members to elect incumbents or new members to the Marshall County REMC board. More details on the election and Annual Meeting will be available in early 2026.
MARCH 30 – APRIL 4
Two tornadoes strike Marshall County just three days apart, resulting in widespread power outages and damage to the local electric system.
- March 30: A tornado touches down near Donaldson and Ancilla College, cutting power to 90% of members.
- April 2: A second tornado travels 18 miles across the county, impacting over 50% of members.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our crews and support from Heartland, Jay County, Miami-Cass, Northeastern, and Fulton County REMCs, power was restored to all members within three days after each storm.

Member Service Representative Ronda Rice celebrates 40 years of service.
JUNE
Marshall County REMC sponsors two student members: Onya Stackhouse to attend Camp Kilowatt and Sebastian Paske to attend Youth Tour in Washington, D.C.

JULY: MARSHALL COUNTY FAIR
During the Marshall County Fair, 375 members joined us for our annual member appreciation events. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and continues to stay connected through Indiana Connection magazine.

AUGUST

Marshall County Fiber connects its 2,500th customer, adding more than 500 new connections in 2025.
OCTOBER
Travis Bryant joins the team as Director of Finance and Accounting. Bryant is from Rochester and previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Tanadgusix Corporation. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.
NOVEMBER
Capital Credits were paid out to members for the years 1966 through 1980, returning value to those who helped build our cooperative.
