At LaGrange County REMC, we’re always looking for ways to serve our members efficiently while taking care of the hardworking employees who keep your cooperative running smoothly. As part of that effort, we want to announce an upcoming change to our office schedule.

Beginning Jan. 5, our lobby will be closed on Fridays.

Our new lobby hours will be Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While the lobby will be closed on Fridays, we will be available by appointment. Our crews and on-call staff will remain available 24/7 for outages and emergencies — just as always. You can report outages by calling 877-463-7165.

This change is part of an ongoing effort to improve efficiency and provide our employees with a better work-life balance, helping us attract and retain talented people who are committed to serving you. Many of our neighboring cooperatives have made similar adjustments with great success, and we believe this schedule will allow us to maintain — and even enhance — the level of service you expect from your REMC.

Even though our lobby will be closed on Fridays, we’re still here for you in many convenient ways:

• Pay your bill or view your account anytime through the REMC app or on our website.
• Drop payments off using our secure drop box located outside the office.
• Call us during regular business hours Monday through Thursday with any questions about your account or service.

We understand that changes in lobby hours can take some getting used to, but please know this decision was made with our members’ best interests in mind. By adjusting our schedule, we’re ensuring our staff can continue delivering the exceptional reliability, safety, and customer care you deserve — while maintaining a healthy and efficient workplace.
