Every digging project, no matter how small, has the potential to hit buried electric, gas, water, communications, or other utility lines. A damaged line can lead to service interruptions, costly repairs, and serious safety hazards.

The process is simple. Contact Indiana 811 at least two full working days before you plan to dig. Utility companies will mark the approximate location of underground lines at no cost, allowing you to dig safely and with confidence.
