More than $21,000 awarded to C&I members

Lighting rebates incentivize members to upgrade commercial systems

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office accepts a rebate check for $15,000 as part of PPEC’s Commercial and Industrial Lighting Rebate program. Pictured above, from left, are Putnam County Commissioners Vincent Schroeder and John Love, Putnam County Sheriff Brian Siefker, PPEC Energy Adviser Peter Niagu and Putnam County Commissioner Michael Lammers.

In April, both the Pike Run Golf Club and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office received rebate checks just by revamping their lighting systems to LEDs.

They took part in our new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Lighting Program, which encourages members who qualify to upgrade their lighting — a relatively inexpensive change that earns savings over the long haul. Participating members who meet the requirement of the program are eligible to receive a rebate that may not exceed 50 percent of the total project cost up to a maximum of $15,000.

This is just one of the ways your cooperative reinforces its dedication to energy efficiency, the environment and its commitment to the community.

PPEC Energy Adviser Peter Niagu presents a rebate check for $6,015.53 to Head Professional/General Manager Steve Radcliff at Pike Run Golf Club.
