Survey & Ballot Systems (SBS) will be administering the director election process. On March 19, SBS will email voting election packets to all Daviess-Martin REMC members who have their email addresses on file with DMREMC. The packet will include voting options and instructions.
SBS will also mail election packets via USPS to all Daviess-Martin REMC members on March 19. The packet will also include voting options and instructions. These methods of voting allow many more members to participate in the director election.
Each packet will have a unique code, so only one vote is allowed to be processed.
The election will be open from March 23-April 19. Voting information is secure. Election results will not be disclosed to anyone until opened and announced at the virtual annual meeting. There will be no voting on the night of the virtual annual meeting to ensure complete confidentiality and transparency of the votes.
SBS will provide a weekly report to DMREMC on account number and names of voting members. A $10 bill credit will be issued to all voting members. An additional $10 bill credit will be issued to new enrollees of Operation Round Up.
In addition, there will be three drawings during the director election for additional bill credits. All voting members will be included in each drawing. Vote early for more chances to win! Once a member wins, their name will be eliminated from the drawing.
