DENNIS BURTON, President

With great pride and gratitude, I present this years presidents report of your Fulton County REMC. As we reflect on the past year, I am reminded of the strength, resilience, and commitment of our members, employees, and the board of directors. Together, weve continued to fulfill our mission of providing safe, reliable, and affordable electric service to our community.

The board of directors continues to meet monthly to perform its fiduciary responsibilities. Your co-ops financial health remains strong. We have continued to operate efficiently while returning capital credits to our members. Each member should have received their capital credits in December via check or bill credit.

I am honored to extend my thanks to Debby Davis, who retires this year. She has dedicated 45 years to the membership. I welcome Nicole Wentzel to the accounting department and Caden Bixler to the line department. We are pleased to have them join our REMC family.

Construction has started on our new substation, which should be in service at the beginning of 2026. The line department has been working with a contractor on new services and line replacements, as substantial load growth keeps us busy.

The co-op is very involved in the community that we serve. This year, we continue to support many local organizations. We are in our schools with education on safe electric use.

Please attend our Annual Meeting at the REMC office on June 23. We will have a drive-thru event again this year. Every member attending will receive a credit on their power bill. Your name will also be entered in the drawings for additional bill credits.

In closing, I would like to thank the board of directors for their guidance. Thank you to our great team at your REMC for their hard work and dedication. We hope to see you on June 23 for the Annual Meeting. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely yours,

Dennis Burton
