I have served as the Fulton County REMC District 2 Director for the past three years and would be honored to continue as your representative. I have honed my knowledge of the vital and Irreplaceable role of rural electric co-ops, not only within Fulton County but also at the state and national levels. I look forward to continuing to advance and safeguard the future of our cooperative and its membership. I value your trust and confidence and look forward to being able to continue serving our county.
My husband, Drew, and I have three children, ages 4 months to 5 years old. Im blessed to be able to stay home with them. We own and operate Valhalla Farms, a 16-acre U-pick blueberry patch, six miles west of Rochester, Indiana. My grandparents recently received the Sesquicentennial (150 years) Hoosier Homestead award, and we are blessed to continue the family heritage and traditions weve learned from them, as we grow our own herd of Polled Hereford beef cattle. I am a member of the Indiana Grown Initiative and the Fulton County 4-H Beef Committee board member. Our family attends Whippoorwill Community Church. Thank you for considering me to continue as your REMC District 2 Director.

I have lived in Aubaunaubee township my entire life. My wife, Dee, and I live just south of Delong in the Kings Lake area. We have been here almost 30 years and have raised our three beautiful daughters here. We love It when our grandkids come home and play in the same yard and house as their parents.
My wife and I work together as well. Im a special needs school bus driver, and my wife is the bus aide for Rochester schools. We have a good relationship with the children on the bus, although I think they all like Miss Dee better than me. We also have five flea market booths, three in Rochester at Northern Traders, and two in Logansport at Trader Bucks. We enjoy the chase of finding antiques or unusual stuff.
We are members of Delong Gospel Lighthouse Church, which has significant sentimental value to us. We graduated from the school there when it was still an active Christian academy. I graduated in 1991, and Dee in 1993. We were also married there in 1993.
I am interested in becoming a director at REMC to understand the inner workings of our local co-op electric company. I believe our Fulton County office does a great job, from customer service to the lineworkers out here keeping us all connected and comfortable in our jobs and at home. I want to learn and share ideas for the future of our power grid. I want to explore alternative power sources or encourage patrons to use a backup power supply in emergencies. Many people may go several hours without electricity during a storm, which can cause significant loss to their food supply or water. Some people may have in-home medical devices that require a constant power supply. I want to explore ideas for an affordable emergency power supply and encourage customers to invest in it to save their food, or even their lives, in an emergency.

I’m District 7 Director Adam Loehmer. My wife, Lindsay, and I have been married for 16 years and have four children. We live just outside of Monterey, where we have our business, All Grain Transport. I started All Grain Transport in 2012 with myself and one semi-truck. Today, I have 11 trucks that haul for our local farmers and agricultural industries. I enjoy kayaking, hiking, riding ATVs, and fishing with my friends and family.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to coach middle school football and basketball for the last couple of years. It is very rewarding for me to see kids understand the game and improve as student athletes.
I want to be a director at FCREMC to continue learning about the evolving energy business, help make the best decisions for FCREMC, and communicate with the members. I feel the board of directors at FCREMC is an outstanding group of people who are always looking to do the best thing for the co-op and the members. I have enjoyed my six years as a director and look forward to serving our members in the future.
*After the REMC received the nomination form for candidate Adam Loehmer for District 7 of the Fulton County REMC Board of Directors, REMC staff found it did not conform to the technical requirements of Article IV, Section 4 of the bylaws. However, after consultation with the cooperatives attorney, the board of directors determined that since no other nomination forms were submitted, and the intent of the nomination form was clear and supported by multiple members, Loehmers name should be placed on the ballot.
