The Annual Meeting of the members of the Decatur County Rural Electric Membership Corporation was held at the Decatur County Fairground Livestock Pavilion, Greensburg, Indiana, on June 14, 2024, with activities from 4 to 7 p.m. and a business meeting following at 7 p.m. Employee Jennifer Meyer welcomed the members and lead the Pledge of Allegiance. There was a moment of silence followed by recognition for all military veterans and current service men and women. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Steve AmRhein, and Secretary Brian Scheidler kept the minutes.
Scheidler read the notice of the meeting together with the proof of mailing thereof to all the members of the Corporation, and such notice was included with the minutes of the Annual Meeting of the members.
The Annual Report, which included the Treasurer’s Report, was mailed to each member.
Upon motion properly made and carried, the minutes of the Annual Meeting of the members held June 16, 2023, were approved as printed in the Annual Report.
AmRhein and CEO Brett Abplanalp reported to the membership on the activities at Decatur County REMC for the year 2023.
Attorney Robert Wickens announced the election of the directors and Nominating Committee. Those elected and certified were:

Dale Wernke, District 6
The following person was elected to the Nominating Committee:
William Huffmeyer, District 7
Members who registered at the meeting will receive a $10 credit. The meeting was adjourned as there was no further business.
