Bill Redesign

Beginning with Cycle 3 in February, members will notice a new, updated look and design to their electric bills. The new bills will feature designated placement for current information and important updates, as well as notifications for things like credit card expirations, past due balances, and more.

Other features include updated use graphs that are easy to read and comprehend, comparing the energy use to weather patterns; energy use comparison charts; and now, summary billing for members with multiple accounts.

As part of this transition, members who wish to opt out of summary billing will need to contact the office right away in order to have individual account bills sent separately. Otherwise, accounts will be consolidated into one bill (individual amounts will still be listed on billing statement with one total on the account balance summary).

To opt out of summary billing, please contact the office during regular business hours — 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 260-665-3563.

Annual Meeting

2019 also brings an exciting change to the Annual Meeting of our membership. Due to record growth, this year’s event will take place indoors at the Athletic Recreation Center (pictured below) on the campus of Trine University.

The date will also be moved up to Saturday, June 8. Although the event will be indoors, it will still include all of the same fun as in past years, and even more. With no wind, rain or heat to fret about, we are excited to bring this beneficial change to our ever-growing event.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 8, at the ARC on the campus of Trine University. More information will follow in the upcoming issues of the Electric Consumer.
