Pup-Cakes Recipe

Ingredients

  • CAKES:
  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 t. baking powder
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T. honey
  • FROSTING:
  • 3 T. yogurt
  • 1½ T. peanut butter

Directions

Stir together cake ingredients in a bowl. Spoon batter into six paper-lined muffin tins. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes. Allow pup-cakes to cool.

Stir together frosting ingredients. Store frosting separately and frost pup-cakes before serving. Pup-cakes may be stored in an airtight container up to 5 days.
