Local students attend unique camp

Orange County REMC sponsored, from left, Sydney Flynn and Faith Edwards at the annual Camp Kilowatt. The camp was held June 8-11, at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Indiana.  Students entering seventh grade this fall were eligible to attend and were selected by their local cooperative to participate in the four-day program.

Fiber Technician Tyler McKeighten joined our team on May 2. The Paoli native graduated from Paoli Junior/Senior High School. He and his wife, Ashley, have one child, Justin Thornton. McKeighten enjoys hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

REMC linemen assist with sirens in area

The Marshall County REMC linemen assisted Walnut Township by installing six 55-foot poles. These poles will have tornado sirens installed in June. The poles were strategically placed around the township to ensure coverage. This will allow the proper warning in case of an emergency.
